These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases, interactions, promotions, and use of the Chuqui website and services. Chuqui is a brand of The Cocktail Guy Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing our website, entering a promotion, or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will take effect once published on our website.
Chuqui products contain alcohol and are sold in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 (NZ).
By placing an order, you confirm that:
You are 18 years of age or older
The recipient of the order is also 18 years of age or older
You are legally permitted to purchase alcohol in New Zealand
We reserve the right to:
Request proof of age or identity
Refuse or cancel orders where age cannot be reasonably verified
Decline delivery if alcohol may be accessed by minors
Alcohol deliveries must not be left unattended in circumstances where minors could obtain access.
We support and promote the responsible consumption of alcohol.
Our bottled cocktails:
Contain 13.9% Alcohol by Volume (ABV)
Are intended for responsible adult consumption
Are produced in accordance with New Zealand food safety and alcohol regulations
Product descriptions, images, and tasting notes are provided in good faith. Minor variations between batches may occur.
Please consume alcohol responsibly. Our products should not be consumed if you are:
Pregnant or breastfeeding
Driving or operating machinery
Taking medication that advises against alcohol consumption
If you have any medical conditions or concerns, seek professional advice before consuming alcohol.
Our products may contain, or be produced in facilities that handle, common allergens. While care is taken, we cannot guarantee the absence of trace allergens. Ingredient information is available on request.
All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase
We reserve the right to change pricing, products, or availability at any time without notice
Wholesale pricing is subject to separate Wholesale / Trade Terms (see Section 13).
We currently deliver within New Zealand only, unless otherwise stated.
Orders are typically delivered within 3–5 business days from dispatch
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by courier delays, weather events, or other circumstances outside our control
Alcohol deliveries may require signature on delivery
If delivery cannot be completed due to age restrictions or recipient unavailability, re-delivery fees may apply
Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility for delivery rests with the courier service.

We comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ).
You are entitled to a replacement or refund if a product:
Is faulty or unsafe
Does not match its description
Arrives damaged or incorrect
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, providing your order number and clear photos where applicable.
Due to the nature of alcohol and food products:
We do not accept returns for change of mind
Opened or partially consumed products cannot be returned

To ensure the longevity and quality of Chuqui barware and cocktail kits:
Hand wash only
Do not place items in the dishwasher
Avoid abrasive sponges or harsh detergents
Dry thoroughly after washing
Damage caused by improper care or use is not considered a manufacturing fault and is not covered by returns or refunds.

From time to time, Chuqui may run promotions, giveaways, or competitions (“Promotions”).
All Promotions are subject to these Terms and any specific terms provided at the time of the Promotion
Promotions are open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over, unless stated otherwise
Alcohol will not be offered as a prize in any Chuqui Promotion
Prizes may include accessories, merchandise, barware, or other non-alcohol products
Employees of The Cocktail Guy Limited and associated agencies are not eligible to enter
Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash unless expressly stated
Winners will be notified using the contact details provided at entry
By entering a Promotion, you consent to:
The use of your details for prize fulfilment
Reasonable promotional use of your name or entry, unless you request otherwise
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel a Promotion where reasonably necessary, including in cases of fraud, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
All Promotions will be conducted in accordance with New Zealand consumer, privacy, and advertising laws.
By providing your contact details (including email and phone number), you consent to receiving marketing communications from Chuqui and any associated third party partners, including promotions, product launches, events, and brand updates.

Transactional communications relating to orders or customer service will still be sent.

Wholesale purchases are available to approved trade customers only.
Trade customers:
Must comply with all applicable New Zealand alcohol laws
Must not supply alcohol to minors
Must hold any required licences
Wholesale pricing, minimum order quantities, and payment terms are provided separately and are confidential.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Payment is required prior to dispatch
Wholesale orders are not eligible for change-of-mind returns
Faulty or incorrect wholesale orders must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate wholesale accounts for non-payment, misuse of brand assets, or breach of these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law:
We are not liable for misuse of products
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss
Our total liability is limited to the value of the product purchased
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
